aco_type

Initial value: 1

The variable aco_type is used to (temporarily) exclude individual torsion angle restraints from the calculations. It can be used, for instance, to apply Ramachandran plot restraints only in certain phases of a simulated annealing schedule (see anneal.cya).

Torsion angle restraints have an integer type assigned to them, which can be set with the optional type=integer parameter of the read aco command, or for individual restraints within a torsion angle restraint (.aco) file. The default type value of a torsion angle restraint is 1. Violations of torsion angle restraints are only considered if its type value is larger than the value of the variable aco_type.
